AgentAR · Money you’re already owed
Collect what you’re already owed.Your agent does the chasing.
AgentAR keeps the invoices you’ve already sent, imported from QuickBooks or added by hand, in ledgers with every balance and partial payment. Connect your own agent or a partner app, and it collects against them through secure PayAuth links.
How it works
From overdue to paid in three steps
- 01
Bring your receivables
Connect your QuickBooks company and import what you’re owed, or add it by hand. Group receivables into ledgers, by customer or however you work.
- 02
Connect your agent
Your own agent with an API key, or a partner app over OAuth. Each connection gets only the permissions you give it.
- 03
Your agent collects
It asks PayAuth for a payment link for all or part of what’s owed. Your customer pays on a hosted checkout, and the ledger updates when the payment lands.
Ledgers
Every receivable, accounted for
Receivables come in from QuickBooks or by hand, grouped into ledgers however you work. When a payment lands, the receivable and its ledger in PayAuth update on their own.
Partial payments, tracked
Your agent can ask for part of what’s owed. Each payment comes off the balance, and the rest stays open on the ledger.
One live link per receivable
Ask again for the same amount while the link still has time on it, and your agent gets the same link back. Ask for a different amount and the old link is cancelled first.
Checked before anything changes
Before a link is shared, replaced, or called off, PayAuth checks its real state with the payment processor, so a link your customer has just paid isn’t replaced.
Bring your own agent
Any agent can collect. You hold the keys.
PayAuth doesn’t ship an agent. Use the one you already run, or a partner app, and decide exactly what it can touch.
Your own agent
Create an API key in your dashboard and give it only the permissions it needs. It is shown once, stored only as a hash, and you can revoke it at any time.
Partner apps
Connect a partner app over OAuth, from your PayAuth settings or from the app itself. It reaches your receivables only within the permissions you grant. Building one? Email support@payauth.com.
What a connection can do
Read your receivables, request a payment link against one, check where a link or receivable stands, and cancel an open link, within the permissions you give it.
PayAuth never contacts your customers
The conversation belongs to your agent. PayAuth runs the checkout it hands off to, tracks the payment, and pays you out.

If your agent is charging for a deposit, a booking, or a sale rather than an invoice you’ve already sent, that’s AgentPay.
Questions
AgentAR questions
How is AgentAR different from AgentPay?
AgentAR is for money you’re already owed: it keeps your receivables, ledgers, and balances, so your agent can collect against them. AgentPay is for new amounts your agent sets on the spot, like a deposit or a booking. AgentAR’s payment links are made by AgentPay underneath.
Does PayAuth contact my customers?
No. Your agent, or the partner app you connect, does the talking, and you’re responsible for its outreach. PayAuth runs the checkout it hands off to, records the payment, and pays you out.
Which agents work with AgentAR?
Your own, through an API key, or a partner app connected over OAuth. Anything that can make an HTTPS request can use an API key.
How much does AgentAR cost?
No monthly fee and no setup fee. You pay from 10% of each overdue invoice collected through PayAuth, depending on your tier, plus card processing of 2.9% + 30¢ on every payment. Invoices paid before they’re due are charged at card processing + 1%. Invoices that aren’t collected cost you nothing.
Can my customers pay in parts?
Yes. Your agent can ask for a payment link for part of what’s owed. Each payment comes off the receivable’s balance, and the rest stays open until it’s paid.
What if my customer opens the link late?
Payment links last 31 minutes. After that, your agent asks for a fresh one; a receivable never has two live links at once.
Does it work with my accounting software?
QuickBooks: connect your QuickBooks company to import your open invoices, or add receivables by hand. Payments are recorded on your PayAuth ledger; they aren’t written back to QuickBooks automatically yet.
