Acceptable Use

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Draft notice

This is a draft for review and is not yet a binding legal agreement. Final terms will be published before launch and are subject to change.

Permitted use

PayAuth is for legitimate businesses taking payment from their own customers: for genuine amounts those customers owe, or for goods and services the business provides.

Prohibited businesses

PayAuth may not be used by businesses in categories that Stripe or applicable law prohibit, or that PayAuth determines it cannot support.

Prohibited activities

You may not use PayAuth to pursue debts you are not entitled to collect, to harass anyone, or to attempt to collect through false or misleading statements.

Agent outreach

PayAuth does not run your agent or contact your customers. You bring your own agent, or connect a partner app, and are responsible for its outreach: contacting only your own customers, only about payments they owe or have agreed to make, and in compliance with the laws that apply to your business.

Enforcement

PayAuth may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or end access to protect the service and the people it serves.
